The University of Education Winneba campus is being battered by a violent storm, with one car dangerously close to colliding with a tree.
A steady rain in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 6th, coupled by a strong storm, nearly wreaked havoc on campus when a tree crashed on it.
It wasn't expected, but it's raining when no one expected it, just as the weather has changed in recent days.
The event occurred in front of one of the Ghartey halls on South campus of the department. Ghartey Hall has been one the few halls within the university that has really contributed to the growth of the university.
Students are in a safe and secure environment. The hall's managers and supervisors have yet to visit the scene.
